The town board of Leicester appoints a Code Enforcement Officer annually. He or she is expected to work in a close relationship with the town board to ensure the health and safety of all Leicester residents. Together, they provide a variety of services and functions related to town zoning laws while also adhering to the NY State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, the NY State Energy Conservation Construction Code and other applicable laws.
